KOMBINASI PAKAN PABRIKAN DAN MAGOT BSF (BLACK SOLDIER FLY) TERHADAP BERAT BADAN AYAM KUB
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding BSF (Black Soldier Fly) magot to the weight loss of KUB (Kampung Unggul Balitbangtan) epilepsy. This research was carried out in the Kuripan area of West Lombok Regency from August to October 2020. The materials used in this study were 100 KUB chickens that were 5 weeks old. The research method used in this study was a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with 4 treatments and 5 replications. Treatment given as Feed At this stage the feed used in the study consisted of manufacturer feed and maggot. Feed that has been weighed and mixed. Feed was given twice, namely in the morning and evening. Before the KUB chickens were put into the cage, they were weighed first to determine the initial body weight range after which randomization was carried out. The results of this study were that the use of BSF magot as additional feed for KUB native chickens showed significant results. This is seen from the results of observations of feed consumption, body weight gain and feed conversion. where the best average feed consumption in the P3 treatment was 2.76 g/head/day, the best average body weight gain was in the P3 treatment of 18 g/head/day and the best feed conversion was in the P3 treatment. BSF magot has not been able to compensate for the manufacturer's feed as control feed in P3 treatment.
