Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the economic aspects of the PE goat farming business in Keruak District. The advantage of PE goat farming is that it can adapt to tropical environments. This research was carried out in Keruak District, East Lombok. This research location was chosen with the consideration that this area is widely known as one of the development areas for the PE goat fattening business. The research material used was 30 PE goats that were reared independently. This research was carried out using the survey method. The research variables observed by Anatra Lian; Fixed Costs, Variable Costs and Net B/C Ratio. The results of the observations obtained were that the net income received by male PE goat breeders was IDR 3,958,000 / 3 head. So the average per person is IDR. 1,319,333,- Rp. Thus this business is worth continuing. This can also be seen from the B/C which is 1.57.
