Perbedaan Efektifitas Posisi Fowler Dengan Posisi Semifowler Untuk Mengurangi Sesak Nafas
Abstract
Sesak nafas adalah sebuah kondisi dimana paru-paru kurang mendapat pasokan oksiden, sehingga kebutuhan oksigen dalam tubuh tidak terpenuhi. Sekitar 9% orang diatas usia 15 tahun memiliki tingkat sesak nafas kronis dan persentasinya meningkat menjadi 36 % pada pasien lansia. Pemberian posisi fowler dan semifowler adalah dua tindakan mandiri yang sering diberikan oleh perawat saat pasien mengalami sesak. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan efektifitas pemberian posisi fowler dan semifowler untuk mengurangi sesak nafas pada pasien dengan masalah di sistem pernafasan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain two group pre-test and post-test, dengan intervensi posisi fowler dan semi fowler pada pasien yang mengalami sesak nafas. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah pasien sesak napas yang berada di RSUD Kota Mataram yaitu sebanyak 36 sampel, Analisis data dengan uji statistik Wilcoxon dan Mann Whitney. Hasil uji Mann Whitney menunjukkan p-value 0,255 (p > 0,05), artinya tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata skala sesak nafas antara pasien yang dibeikan posisi fowler dan semifowler di RSUD Kota Mataram. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan efektifitas posisi fowler dan semifowler untuk mengurangi sesak nafas pada pasien dengan gangguan pernafasan di RSUD Kota Mataram Tahun 2022.
