The Use of Picture to Improve Students' Vocabulary in the VII Grade of MTs Al-Hasniyah NW Jenggik
Abstract
This study investigates the impact of using pictures as a learning medium to enhance vocabulary acquisition among seventh-grade students at MTs Al-Hasaniyah NW Jenggik during the academic year 2023/2024. Employing a quantitative research design, data were collected through pre-tests, treatments, and post-tests. The results indicate a significant improvement in vocabulary learning when pictures are utilized, with experimental class students showing higher mean scores compared to the control class. The findings suggest that visual media can be an effective tool in vocabulary instruction, enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes.
