PELAKSANAAN SUPERVISI KLINIS KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PEMBELAJARAN

Abstract

Clinical supervision of the school principal is carried out for teacher development in order to improve the quality of learning in schools. This study aims to determine clinical supervision programs, implementation of clinical supervision, clinical supervision techniques, follow-up results of clinical supervision. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach using observational data collection techniques, interviews, and documentation studies. The subjects of this study were school principals and teachers. The results showed that: 1) the implementation of clinical supervision in improving the quality of learning in public elementary schools in the Sidayu sub-district which included the initial meeting stage, the learning observation stage, and the return meeting stage made a fairly good contribution to improving the quality of learning; 2) the efforts made to support this clinical supervision activity by providing appropriate follow-up plans for supervision and providing training and guidance according to the needs of teachers.
