Strategi pembelajaran Kurikulum Merdeka dalam meningkatkan karakter Profil Pelajar Pancasila

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile is an Independent Curriculum platform to shape the character of students so that they become dignified human beings. Character as one of the goals of implementing the Independent Curriculum can be realized with appropriate learning methods or strategies. Learning strategies in a series of educational activities are an important process, at the learning stage there is a process of internalizing the values contained in the Pancasila Student Profile.

The problems that arise in the Merdeka Curriculum learning process are the educators' thinking paradigm, the selection of learning themes and the embodiment of character from the learning process. This has become a polemic that is still attached to the learning process so that the independent curriculum cannot yet be said to have maximum results. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type, the research subjects are teachers who are chosen randomly and the research sample is determined using a purposive sampling technique. This research produces several conclusions, namely: The Merdeka Curriculum learning strategy is effective in improving students' character, the Merdeka Curriculum learning themes are adapted to local wisdom, local wisdom can improve the character contained in the learning themes.
