Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of the principal in fostering teacher discipline in Islamic Kindergarten Al Aziziyah Kapek Islamic Kindergarten, Gunungsari, West Lombok. Teacher discipline is an important factor in creating a conducive and professional learning environment and professional learning environment, thus requires effective leadership from the principal. This research using a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the principal has a strategic role as a motivator, coach, as well as supervisors in enforcing teacher discipline.
