Abstract

The Ministry of Religion issued the Madrasah Digital Report Card (RDM) application as a substitute for the Digital Report Card Application (ARD) previously used. The Religious Education Section (Pendidikan Madrasah ) of the Bogor Regency Ministry of Religion as the responsible party must conduct outreach to madrasas regarding the use of the application. In the socialization process, of course, it cannot be separated from the management process, especially communication management. This study aims to understand and find out how communication management is carried out by the Religious Education Section (Dikmad) of the Ministry of Religion, Bogor Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, which is based on a constructivist paradigm. The type of this research is a case study. Primary data sources in this study were obtained through in-depth interviews and passive participatory observation of related parties. The socialization carried out was a multilevel socialization by means of being carried out to representatives who then these representatives carried out socialization again and so on. The socialization process carried out is also in accordance with the guidelines, from organizing, implementing, and supervising everything has been carried out. In the process, several obstacles were found which were divided into two types, namely internal obstacles and external obstacles. This research is expected to add references in studying communication science in general and communication management in particular.
