Abstract

Islamic Religious Counselors have a very strategic role in maintaining the conduciveness of elections, especially in Central Lombok Regency. In the context of increasingly complex democracy, religious counselors not only function as disseminators of information and religious values, but also as agents of change who are able to influence people's political behavior. Through education and socialization, they help people understand the importance of active participation in elections and the impact of the choices made. The people of Central Lombok have a strong cultural and religious background, religious counselors play a role in creating a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere during the election process. They take an approach based on Islamic values ​​to prevent conflict, educate about the importance of tolerance, and invite the community to uphold the principles of healthy democracy. In addition, collaboration between religious counselors and local governments and other related institutions is very important to ensure that the election runs smoothly and safely. Thus, the role of Islamic religious counselors in Central Lombok Regency is not only limited to the spiritual aspect, but also includes social and political responsibility in maintaining stability and conduciveness during elections. This shows that religious counselors are one of the important pillars in building a democratic and civilized society.
