Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Dear Authors,

When submitting your manuscript to NOVELTY, please clearly specify the type of article you are submitting. Our journal accepts various article types, including but not limited to:

  • Empirical Research Articles involve systematic investigation using primary data to answer specific research questions with scientific methods. These articles are typically based on quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods research.
  • Review Articles provide a comprehensive synthesis of existing research. They aim to summarize current knowledge on a particular topic, identify gaps in the literature, and suggest directions for future research.
  • Case Studies focus on in-depth exploration of specific cases such as schools, communities, or educational programs. These articles aim to provide a deeper understanding of unique phenomena within specific contexts.
  • Program Evaluations assess the effectiveness of programs by examining their design, implementation, outcomes, and impact. These articles help in understanding how programs work and how they can be improved.
  • Policy or Practice Analyses offer critical evaluations of policies or practical approaches related to education and community development. These articles provide recommendations for improving current policies or practices.
  • Community Service Reports document community service activities related to education. They focus on describing the objectives, processes, results, and impacts of the activities, sharing lessons learned from practical experiences.
  • Community Service Article is a scholarly article that critically analyzes community service activities by evaluating their objectives, implementation processes, outcomes, and impacts, while linking practical experiences to relevant theories or frameworks, and providing insights and recommendations to enhance community empowerment and sustainable development.
  • Participatory Action Research (PAR) is a collaborative research approach that empowers communities to actively identify problems, and then plan, implement, and evaluate solutions for sustainable social change.

Clearly indicating the article type helps streamline the review process and ensures your manuscript is evaluated by the appropriate experts. Please select the category that best fits the content and purpose of your work.
