Review Process
The Sainta Journal applies a rigorous peer-review process to maintain high-quality scholarly publications. The review is conducted using a double-blind model, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to one another. Below is the standard workflow for submitted manuscripts:
1. Submission
Authors submit manuscripts through the official OJS (Open Journal Systems) platform of the Sainta Journal. Submissions must adhere to the journal’s formatting guidelines and scope.
2. Initial Screening by Editor
The Editor-in-Chief or assigned Section Editor performs an initial screening to eval_uate:
-
Thematic relevance to the journal's scope
-
Completeness of submission files
-
Compliance with formatting and author guidelines
-
Plagiarism check (using appropriate plagiarism detection software)
Submissions that do not meet the criteria may be returned to the author for revision or outright rejection.
3. Reviewer Assignment
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to two or more independent peer reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
4. Peer Review Process
Reviewers assess the manuscript based on the following aspects:
-
Originality and novelty
-
Clarity of objectives and research questions
-
Methodological soundness
-
Accuracy and relevance of data analysis
-
Strength of discussion and conclusion
-
Adequacy and recency of references
The standard review period is 2–4 weeks, depending on reviewer availability.
5. Review Outcomes
Based on reviewer feedback, the editorial decision may fall into one of the following categories:
-
Accepted without revision
-
Accepted with minor revisions
-
Accepted with major revisions
-
Rejected
6. Revision by Author
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers’ comments and submit a revised version along with a detailed response to reviewer comments.
7. Re-review (if necessary)
If major revisions were requested, the revised manuscript may be sent back to the reviewers for a second eval_uation.
8. Final Decision by Editor
The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on reviewer input and the quality of revisions. Accepted manuscripts proceed to the production stage.
9. Copyediting and Galley Proof
The editorial team performs final language editing and formatting. The galley proof is sent to the author for final approval before publication.
10. Online Publication
Once approved, the article is published online in the appropriate journal issue and becomes openly accessible.
